Library Genesis
Library Genesis is probably the most famous and one of the most well-stocked free eBook download sites. It can sort papers/eBooks neatly. Search a book on this site, you might find several versions of the book, and you can download according to your needs. At the far right of each entry, there are five mirrors to select. Mirror [1] is unlimited for download. LIBGEN, ZLibrary, and BookFI are all mirror sites.

But if you’re looking for popular books published in recent decades, you probably won’t find them because the copyrights for these books are usually not yet expired.
Tips: Click on “Top 100 eBooks this month” and you can usually find some classical eBooks that have reference value.

There are only literature books on Planet eBook. This is the most beautiful free eBook download site I have ever seen. The eBooks available on it are as good as their website interface design – the books are all beautifully produced, have pretty font and style. It’s a little pity that it only has 80+ books at present, but we know, quality matters more than quantity.
